We kicked off our Homecoming festivities with alumni visits from videographer Kevin Tennant and photojournalist Isaiah Vasquez on Friday, then a steady flow of alumni, students, faculty and staff at our tailgate tent. For a few hours, we enjoyed music from faculty member John Down, delicious food from one of our great local eaters (Juniper Brewing Company) and connecting and reconnecting with friends new and old, not to mention all the excitement around us – from Pudge the cat to live music to the Falcon Marching Band and all the other activity surrounding our tent. As you can see from the pictures, we had a great time.
Of course, it’s always great when the football team produces a Homecoming victory and they didn’t disappoint the sell-out crowd. By the time the post-game fireworks lit up the sky, we all had a whole new batch of memories to look back upon.
Thanks to all who attended and to those who couldn’t make it – we missed you and hope to see you back on campus soon.
