Bill Estep, 1977, is the retired former owner of Estep Media Solutions, a Columbus, Ohio-based web design, SEO and advertising firm. Bill was sports editor and executive sports editor of The BG News before embarking on a 10-year reporting career at the Fort Wayne (Ind.) Journal-Gazette, Columbus (Ohio) Citizen-Journal and United Press International. He was an editor/writer at Ohio University for 11 years and editor and then advertising manager of Ohio State University’s faculty/staff newspaper for 14 years. He is a co-founder of The BG News Alumni Society and twice served as its board president. Estep Media Solutions was named one of the “Best Web Developers in Columbus” in 2022 by the national website Expertise.com, and named a “Top Web Designer in Ohio” in 2023 by the national consumer site clutch.co.
