There are so many ways to say thank you and show appreciation but none of them seem to be enough to express our gratitude for the outpouring for BG Falcon Media during BGSU’s One Day online giving event.
For the first time, we eclipsed four figures as more than 40 people contributed more than $10,300 including our challenge gift of $3,500 that was unlocked once we passed 25 contributions. Thanks to Duane Pohlman, Mizell Stewart, Dr. Ellen Schendel, and Harold Brown who joined me in making that gift possible.
Every single one of those dollars will go to the BG Falcon Media experience. We can now acquire equipment necessary to continue broadcasting more live sporting events than any other student-run organization in the country. We can also get our hands on a nifty device that will enhance our sports team’s ability to create great highlight videos. That’s on top of things like printing the BG News, promotional items like stickers and t-shirts, and the basics like reporter’s notebooks, high-density USB drives, Bluetooth lavaliere microphones, and memory cards.
