Among the honors –
🏆 Student Print/Online for our 2024 Best of BG magazine, featuring designer Syed Ayaz Fatmi and writer Brandee Brossart (both graduates)
🏆 Student Digital/TV for our Live & Loud show, featuring students Brynn Drabek, Carson DiSalvo and Avi Heinz and graduate Fiona Parish
🏆 Best Social Media Campaign (and this wasn’t a student category, but competing against professionals) for Falcon Media Sports Network’s Falcon Four series led by students Lucas Kleimeyer and Tyler Kavalecz
🎓 Graduate student (and BG24 newcast executive producer) Allyson Ritchey received the Bernard F. Judy Scholarship
🏆 Faculty member Jason Hibbs took home the award for Podcast (News/Opinion) for Rethinking Jails and Justice Podcast for WGTE and Lucas County
🏆 The Press Club honored alumnae Diane Larson with a Golden Touchstone; she was inducted into BGSU’s Hall of Fame in April
